Music Browser, 2004
This application prototype offers a new approach to browsing and listening to a collection of music. Intended to be used by those accessing a shared online collection of music, Music Browser allows for interpersonal relationships to inform the user's approach to music. User collections are represented by scalable graphical blocks, populated by small graphical blocks which represent each track in that collection. The user may drag and drop the graphical blocks, adding to the playlist at the left any tracks contained by the circle at center of the screen. Tracks in the playlist may be played, downloaded, or added to a custom collection.
