Media Table Concept, 2003
This coffee table is dually functional, operating as both an elegant coffee table and a storage system for compact discs or DVDs. Designed for urban dwelling, the Media Table is built of a wood and acrylic sliding shell that opens from the center to expose an accordian-style interior which holds a collection of discs as large as 1000. The sliding shell allows for the coffee table to maintain its functionality while discs are browsed and accessed in a way similar to that of filing cabinets.
