Wireframe Flowers, 2005-2006
The memory of a grandmother is brought to life through the mixing of media in Flowerings. Photographic images of memorabilia -- her letters, photographs, jewelry -- fill these wire-frame flowers. Memories of the dead contrast with imagery of life, bringing to mind questions of family, love, and losss. Exhibited as part of the Room for the Dead, ASU Museum of Anthropology, 2005-2006.
